Photos: Screaming barrels on a sunny Indo day

After a windy week and choppy-slop the island has finally been graced by some serious swell. A nice respite from the wind swell that's been lurking courtesy of the howling winds, there's finally some proper surf. While the wet season is notoriously fickle, any resident surfers will tell you that on occasion it serves up delectable treats for those who are around, and what came on yesterday is no exception: 6 foot barrels and sunny skies, with even bigger sets at some places, rewarded those in the know. All the local pro’s were out enjoying the blue water and deep barrels. The swell should be around for a few more days, let's hope the wind and rain don't drown it out and you get some waves too.
